Having to be fans of both of these bands. I’ve observed that they are sort of similar to each other. Look:
First of, they were both discovered by Mr. Simon Cowell and both are from the Great Britain.
Secondly, they resemble somebody in particular in the other band. (Will explain)
Westlife:
1. Shane Filan - He’s most likely to sing first in most of their songs and most likely to sing in most of their songs. Sort of the leader of the group…the “daddy” figure.
2. Mark Feehily - The most quiet, serious, shy type amongst them. He sings the “Ooohs”, “Aaahs”, the high notes and the bridges of the songs.
3. Brian McFadden - The ladies man in the band. He’s the one who’s always smiling and who’s joking around. He’s also the one who sings second, right after Shane. Sometimes.
4. Kian Egan - I tell you. He sounds like Niall when he talks. The closest, perhaps. He’s also the one who plays the guitar during their concerts or guestings or whatever.
5. Nicky Byrne - He sort of has the kind of singing voice that Louis produces and if you observe or at least look closely, they sort of look alike, from the bone structure down to the mouth.
Thirdly, they easily topped the charts.
* If you guys KNOW 1D, you’ll be able to catch up with what I am saying here. I am a fan of both and I do not compare for hate. I just find it amazing how both resemble each other.
I know most of my followers probably don’t care about Westlife, but I was just looking through my laptop.

The parallels between Westlife and One Direction are just omg, I won’t go into it now but they are just like yeah. If you’re a fan of both, you’ll get me.
